Understanding of Covid-19
1. What is A Coronovirus?
Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses which may cause illness in animals or humans. In humans, several coronaviruses are known to cause respiratory infections ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS). The most recently discovered coronavirus causes coronavirus disease COVID-19.
2. How does Covid-19 spread?
People can catch COVID-19 from others who have the virus. The disease can spread from person to person through small droplets from the nose or mouth which are spread when a person with COVID-19 coughs or exhales. These droplets land on objects and surfaces around the person. Other people then catch COVID-19 by touching these objects or surfaces, then touching their eyes, nose or mouth. People can also catch COVID-19 if they breathe in droplets from a person with COVID-19 who coughs out or exhales droplets. This is why it is important to stay more than 1 meter (3 feet) away from a person who is sick.
3. What are the sins and symptoms of Covid-19?
Symptoms of COVID-19 are similar to a range of other illnesses such as influenza and do not necessarily mean that you have COVID-19. Symptoms include:
- Sore throat
- fever
- coughing
- difficulty breathing
- sneezing and runny nose
- tempororary loss of smell
Covid -19 Cleaning Service
COVID 19 is an infectious virus which is considered a workplace hazard. The Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 requires that businesses take all practicable steps to mitigate risk and protect workers at all times from workplace hazards. According to the public health guidelines, regular clean and disinfection will minimise the spread of infection.
Wisdom is committed to working alongside Government to prevent the spread of COVID-19. As a company, we will do our utmost to protect our customer and the wider community and New Zealand.
Disinfection services
Cleaning is an essential part of disinfection. Cleaning remove dirt, grease and bacteria from the environment, it allows the disinfectant to work. If surfaces are not “clean‟, accumulated dirt and organic matter can protect bacteria and virus, which may cause further disinfection processes to be ineffective. Good mechanical cleaning, i.e. the friction created through a vigorous cleaning motion, physically reduces the numbers of bacteria from the surface but does not kill those bacteria that may remain on the surface. Removal of bacteria such as the virus that causes COVID-19 requires thorough cleaning followed by disinfection.
A disinfection process uses a disinfectant product that kill or inactivate virtually all bacteria and virus to a level so that it can further lower the risk of spreading virus infection. The process usually requires soaking or drenching the item or surface for several minutes to give the chemical time to destroy any remaining bacteria and virus.
Therefore, disinfecting services can be two-in-one service or the service on top of the regular cleaning.
Terminal Cleaning Services
Terminal cleaning is a complete and enhanced cleaning procedure that decontaminates an area following transfer of a person infected with COVID 19. Terminal cleaning requires both thorough cleaning and disinfection for environmental decontamination.
